"Native" is an original artwork by Katherine Cusack. This was the only sunlight our eyes saw on the adventurous weekend exploring Kangdanga Creek. Ohh it was a highlight of the weekend.
This is apart of Katherine's collection where she explores the many magnificent trees we can all discover in the outdoors. How rare to find a tree allowed to grow to maturity without clipping and pruning. Or to find a tree standing alone in a field free to grow up and out, ahhhh that is a free tree!
The techniques used here lean into working with the beautiful texture of the raw linen. The linen enhances the vibrancy of the colours used.
